Terms and rules

The 482d vOG exists to provide a down to earth, humble, organized, and fun place to enjoy DCS together. Real life and family will always come first here. We genuinely acknowledge that members volunteer their free time to be here, and that time is always valued. We love getting on together for a virtual flight, strive for learning and growth, but never at the expense of the people who make the group possible.

Rules
Be a good teammate: Treat people with respect, friendly banter and military style humor are welcome. Keep it reasonable: Adult conversation and humor are fine; no sexual content, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or other controlled/classified military material. Be kind to others always: Handle disagreements like adults and keep this a place where people can relax, fly, and enjoy time with the bros. Respect people’s time: Nobody signed a contract to be here; value the time members choose to give to each other. Take it to the level that is enjoyable for you: Train, improve, and uphold keeping DCS an awesome virtual flight experience, without turning a volunteer hobby into a job. That "level" that is fun, is up to you.

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older. Own the required DCS aircraft, maps, and content for your squadron. Communicate and participate when life allows. There are no hard attendance requirements; family, work, and real life always come first.

A Hobby Group That Has Your Back
The 482d vOG is proud to be a welcoming and supportive place for veterans, active duty, national guard, reservist military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, first responders, agents, commercial/airline pilots, airfield managers, and others who serve their communities. This is a place to decompress, fly with the bros, talk about life, and lean on people who may understand the experiences and mental weight that can come with service. Look out for each other, check on your people, and know you’ve always got wingmen here when life gets heavy. Remember that there is always Hope for the helpless, rest for the weary, and grace, mercy, forgiveness, and healing…wherever you are, you can be met there.
